Attention of Terry
Back in September I bought an SD365 and 15hp Tohatsu from you, and this is just a quick note to let you know how pleased I have been with it so far. We took it out inshore at Anglesea the day after I picked it up, and it coped very well at low revs with 3 adults and 4 kids and even though I still haven’t done enough hours to break in the engine properly it had no problems in shifting at a reasonable pace.
It has only been used a couple of times, but I’m looking at adding a few bits and bobs to it for the next time I use it…Having struggled to carry it to the shoreline between 3 of us I’m in need of a set of wheels, and like the look of the small 125mm compact set that you sell. I know that the larger set will take more weight, but these will interfere with the position of my fishing rod holders I have fitted on the transom.
Could you tell me whether they would be capable of taking the combined weight of the boat and motor please?
I believe the boat is 58kg and the engine is 51kg and I have seen that the maximum load for these is 130kg, but thought I’d better ask someone like yourself first.
I’m also interested in the bow cover that you showed me at your offices the day we came to view the boats. If you could let me know the cost of this for my size of vessel I would appreciate it.
