Excel Boats is a wholly owned subsidiary of Meridian Marine International, an established UK company, whose Principles have gained considerable expertise over many years in the Marine Industry.

Following adverse experiences with a number of different inflatable boat brands and the frustration from excessive warranty claims, in 2003 a production facility was developed for a new range of inflatable boats which would fill the criteria of ideal design and excellent value for money. Now the Manufacturers and European Distributors of this highly successful and comprehensive range of Excel Inflatable Boats with production in excess of 700 boats per annum.

These exclusive facilities enable us to maintain a refined control on each boat in our extensive range during production. Our concept, coupling leading design with traditional construction methods and testing each completed craft ensures our confidence to guarantee each boat for 5 years.

The operation base in Sutton Coldfield is ideally located on arterial road links for efficient UK distribution. Excel Inflatable's has a well established and consolidated position in the U.K. market with a comprehensive dealer net work throughout, including Ireland. We are looking to appoint more dealers for some areas throughout the 2009 season.

We also have a blossoming distribution network in parts of Europe, currently developing the French and Spanish Markets and expanding into Eastern Europe.

The substantial premises at Sutton Coldfield house a spacious showroom for presentation of the complete range of Excel Inflatable boats and Outboard Engines for highly competitive package prices for everyone’s needs. Current appointments include Suzuki, Mercury, Mariner, Tohatsu, Evinrude and Johnson.

A highly secure online ordering facility is also available through the main website for immediate despatch, usually a next day service.

We have introduced five new Excel models for 2009. The 160SD, 180SD, 200SF, 230SF and 230RT, which are compact, lightweight and suitable as tenders for the various smaller motor cruisers and sailing yachts. This leads Excel to have the widest range of inflatable boats on the market, 19 models!

The highly popular standard model in soft Grey fabric and the optional Red/Black XHD models are now complimented by Green, Camouflage, Black for commercial operators and the attractive White fabric models following demands from the Mediterranean larger Motoryacht market.

Other new flagships for this season are the XHD610 (6.1 metres) and the XHD700 (7.0 metres).
